    What is vacuum insulation?

    Vacuum insulation helps maintain drink temperatures for much longer than drinkware with single or even double walls. Without getting into too much of the physics, a gas-tight vacuum layer is sealed between inner and outer layers of stainless steel.     What is a copper lining?

    A copper lining is used within the vacuum insulation to maximize temperature maintenance. You can't actually see the copper lining because it is inserted in the gas-tight vacuum between the inner and outer layers of stainless steel. The result is a superior construction which keeps drinks hot or cold for long periods, regardless of outside temperatures.
