    Small Businesses Doing Big Things

    Element Five Fitness

The success of Element Five Fitness comes from the simplicity of their message: “We help people feel good.” Owner Sooz Melissa has created a community in her gym by supporting each member’s unique needs and routine. For clients and Sooz alike, what makes her establishment stand out is the human interaction and one-on-one connection with the trainers. “At the end of the day, it’s way less about us and way more about our customers,” says Sooz. When designing merchandise for Element Five Fitness, she puts the same focus on personalization—offering sport bags, water bottles, and other items to suit her clients’ needs.

“We are very involved in our community,” says Sooz. “It's super helpful to have merch that we can give away to community members to help spread brand awareness.”

    Plant Daddy

It's no surprise that the owner of Plant Daddy, Dash Diaz, is great at growing business. Voted the best nursery in Miami by Miami-Dade Favorites, this garden shop features on-trend style and contemporary offerings. Their secret? Making sure customers leave with the full “Plant Daddy experience”. According to Dash, that means providing “great customer service, sometimes we give out free items if it’s your birthday—why not?” Naturally, Plant Daddy’s promotional products are a perfect match for the business, featuring its Miami-Vice inspired logo displayed in vivid full color.

“You have to be your number one cheerleader,” says Dash. “We’ve actually had a lot of customers that come back, and they’re like, ‘Oh, we saw your logo on somebody’s tote bag!’”

    Jatna Banks Aesthetics

Jatna Banks is a brow and makeup artist who specializes in bringing out the best in her clients. Showing off her keen eye for beauty is a necessity in every area of her business, from her social media presence to her website. That’s how she’s gained a following of loyal clients in her community. Her tips to other small businesses? “Be consistent and don’t give up,” says Jatna. Clients know they can go to her space to relax and feel welcome. “I’m like their therapist,” she jokes. So, it’s important for the custom products she shares with clients to match the elevated experience she’s offering.

Each item is designed with her logo and signature black and gold brand colors for maximum brand recognition. “I feel like now my clients can find me,” says Jatna.
